About the CST

Ylva Lorentzon

Ylva Lorentzon is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Child and Youth Studies at Stockholm University and is affiliated with The Centre for the Studies of Children's Culture, Stockholm University. Her research revolves around intersections between culture and arts for children, childhood, youth and cultural policy. After her dissertation on the production of performing arts for children and youth, in which she focused on issues of status, power and legitimacy, she has engaged with issues of performing arts and migration, diversity and cultural policy.
